M.Tech - Electronics & Communication Engineering

Department of Electronics & Communication has started PG Program in the year of 2008. The program is approved by AICTE and Government of Gujarat and is affiliated to Saurashtra University, Gujarat, then to Gujarat Technological University, Gujarat in the year since 2009 (and now to the C. U. shah University, Wadhwan in the year of 2013). Communication is the fastest growing segment of the industry. It has experienced exponential growth over the last decade. Cellular phones have become a critical business tool and they are rapidly replacing outdated wire line systems in many developing countries. The explosive growth of Communication Systems suggests a bright future for Communication Engineering field. This programme is an advanced level course in the field of Communication Engineering offering a specialization in terms of technology and applications to fulfill the requirements of the industry.

Number of Seats: 18

Eligibility: Candidates who have acquired BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication is eligible. The admissions are through central counseling (ACPC) on the basis of merit in GATE or PGCET. As Per norms seats are also available under sponsored and Management quota. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for scholarship through AICTE.

Infrastructure: ICT enable class rooms, state of art with latest configuration laboratory, namely, (1) Research laboratory and (2) Advanced Communication Laboratory. the students are required to learn through hands on in various laboratories in the department. There is 24*7 internet facility available to all the students.

Areas of Research: The students will get an opportunity to participate in projects related to, but not limited to Image processing, VLSI, Wireless communication, Embedded system design, Advance communication algorithms,.
